Wigan Social Business Retail Consultancy

In 2023/4 Waymarking facilitated a short series of discussion-based workshops with four women-led, wellbeing and creativity focussed social enterprises in Wigan. The businesses were at a range of stages, from starter to established for 4-5 years, they were; Miss Places, Craft Hive, Remade Wigan and Wigan Workshop.

 

Waymarking nurtured a deeper collaboration between the four businesses, using our engaging and considered facilitation technique, the group identified common ground,

discussed issues, and focussed their goals.  They went on to form a new collaborative partnership to seek a suitable collective retail space in the Wigan borough.

 

Waymarking supported these four social enterprises towards increased economic resilience, encouraging their co-creation towards Wigan as a thriving and resilient place.
