Freelance role: Business and Programme Support support

Fee: £3840

Contract: Approximately 24 days over 6 months

Waymarking is based in Manchester and works with communities supporting them to shape and influence how their neighbourhoods are developing, through community-led planning, regeneration and economic development, by combining creative and arts-based approaches with urban design and community-led regeneration techniques to create bespoke, place-based capacity building programmes.

Following a successful first year as a social enterprise, Waymarking is seeking freelance Business and Programme Support to continue its development and expansion to deliver its increasingly vital social mission. The person will work closely with the Director to bring specialist skills and experience to the organisation’s Business Support, including developing, delivering and reviewing business processes and systems including HR, IT, GDPR, Health and Safety; enabling day-to-day smooth-running operations; data management, project monitoring and reporting; community and contractor liaison; marketing and social media support.

You will need at least 2 years’ experience in Business Support, and will be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience of office systems and organisational policy setting.

Some face-to-face work will be required and good local knowledge of Greater Manchester.
